Jessica Adams has at various times been an editor, book reviewer, Internet columnist, feature writer and astrologer for many magazines and newspapers throughout Australia. She has also been a scriptwriter and researcher for television. Jessica's first book, Astrology for Women, was published in 1997 both here, in the UK and US and her Handbag Horoscopes was published in October 1999.
Jessica is the author of Single White E-Mail, a first novel which became an immediate Australian and UK bestseller, now translated into five languages. She is also well-known for her critically acclaimed second novel Tom, Dick and Debbie Harry, and the hit short-story collections, Girls Night In and Girls Night In 2 - Gentlemen by Invitation, both in aid of the charity War Child, raising a grand total of $1 million for children in Afganistan, Rwanda, Kosovo and East Timor.
Apart from fiction, Jessica is also well known as an astrologer through her work as horoscope columnist in Vogue and Sunday Life. Since 1999, Adams has also developed her abilities as a natural psychic medium, and used her own experiences in the writing of I'm a Believer. Her latest novel is Cool for Cats.
Jessica was born in London, brought up in the Tasmanian bush and now divides her time between Sydney, Bellingen and London.
