Malcolm Brown entered journalism with the Daily Liberal in Dubbo, New South Wales, in 1969, and following national service joined the staff of the Sydney Morning Herald in 1972. He has worked as a reporter and feature writer and his first major project was coverage of the Azaria Chamberlain case. His books include Australian Crime, Justice and Nightmares, Bombs, Guns and Knives, Rorting: the Great Australian Crime and Cold Blooded Murder.
