Anson Cameron is the author of the acclaimed collection of stories, Nice Shootin', Cowboy, and the multi-shortlisted first novel, Silences Long Gone, as well as Confessing The Blues and Tin Toys. He was born in Shepparton in 1961 and grew up there and outside Geelong. He currently lives in Melbourne with his wife and two daughters. His latest novel, Lies I Told About A Girl, was published in Picador in early 2006.
