Who's got what it takes to be a star?
The atmosphere is electric out in the farmyard. Old Farmer Clegg may be tucked up for the night, but there's a talent show about to take place and all the animals are desperate to win. Will a break-dancing horse take the top spot? Will the pop-singing sheep twins be offered a record contract? Competition is fierce, but nobody's counted on a certain farmer with a sleepwalking habit!
Peter Bently lives in the writer-filled town of Totnes with his wife and a ready-made audience of two young children. A prolific picture-book author, he enjoys visiting schools and sharing his writing. Peter has previously published two books with Macmillan: the terrifically toothy The Shark In The Dark with illustrator Ben Cort, and the irresistible Cats Ahoy with Jim Field. Jim Field is a lead-driven, pencil-pushing, 25-frames-per-second, Led Zeppelin fan. He is also a hugely talented illustrator and animation director whose previous clients have included Waterstones, Sainsbury's, Oxfam, The Independent, The Guardian, The FT, Channel 4, Virgin Mobile and Nokia.
