Author Information

Lewis Carroll was the pseudonym of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, an Oxford mathematician famous for his books for children. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was first published by Macmillan & Co in 1865 and, along with Through The Looking-Glass, has been loved by generations of children and adults ever since. Sir John Tenniel was a Victorian topical cartoonist, caricaturist and illustrator. He is best remembered today for his work in Alice. Philip Pullman is one of today's bestselling and most-loved writers for children. He is best known for the His Dark Materials trilogy.
