Author Information

Gillian Shields writes both picture books and full-length children's fiction, using her experience as a drama teacher for inspiration. She lives a busy life, both writing and teaching, and lives in Sussex with her family and a little brown dog, and has written a number of picture books for Macmillan.

Rosie Reeve originally trained as a fine artist, but became interested in illustrating children's books after having her own three children. Rosie has illustrated several picture books for Macmillan, including BELLA GOES TO SCHOOL. Her instinctive understanding of colour brings a real warmth to her work, and her adorable, cuddly characters are full of charm.
