Vicky Stiefel is a writer, photographer, teacher, and passionate knitter. She has published four mystery novels, teaches writing at Clark University, and is a contributor to Wild Fibers. She formed the LaidBack Knitters group on Ravelry and has a presence on Facebook and Twitter under knittingnews.

Lisa Souza focuses on hand dyeing yarn, which she offers through her website lisaknit.com. She owns a showroom and workshop in California and runs two Ravelry groups: Lisa Souza Love and the LaidBack Knitters.
